Senior Employment
The FORWARD SHERIDAN Workforce Recruitment Task Force is in the process of developing programs that will assist employers with strategies to retain senior workers in the workplace longer. As older, mature workers begin to transition into semi-retirement and/or retirement mode, many continue to be active and engaged in the community and may wish to remain in the workforce longer, but on new terms (less stress, more flexibility). Employers that can redesign positions to meet these terms will be successful in retaining their senior employers longer.Programs are currently being developed by members of the Workforce Recruitment Task Force to help employers and seniors both realize their goals.
