The goal of the Workforce Recruitment Task Force is make available to employers a central repository for all open positions in Sheridan County. 

A program is in the beginning stages to educate local employers to the benefits of posting their "open" positions with the Department of Workforce Services.  We will be using testimonials from major employers who are using the website to recruit employees, as well as detailed process education for employers to post their open positions. 

One of the biggest challenges facing employers when they are interviewing candidates is finding appropriate jobs for trailing spouses.  Use of this website by all of our area businesses will enable local employers to quickly assure trailing spouses of the availability of employment opportunities for them as well, thus helping candidates and their spouses to make the decision to come to this area to live. This has potential to bring families who are committed to living and working long-term and assimilating into our communities, to the benefit of the business community, the school districts, and the residents of our area seeking products and services from our local businesses.

The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services maintains a database for all counties in Wyoming.  Sheridan County is served by a local Workforce Services office with two staff members dedicated to assisting employers with job postings to the area website of "available jobs" and also with helping them find "good fit" candidates for their jobs.
