Career/Technical Education
The Career/Technical Education Task Force exists to strengthen the educational opportunities for students who are not considering college immediately as they graduate from high school and to provide training in technical trades where need currently exists in Sheridan County.The task force is comprised of technical education teachers and leadership from School Districts 1 & 2, representatives from the technical education department at Sheridan College, business and industry partners, representatives from Wyoming Workforce Services, Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce, and other organizations committed to helping business and industry partner with education to benefit students and provide one solution to the many-faceted challenges presented by the "workforce shortage" in our community.
